We will explore at first the Nercópolis of Saqqara, where you can discover the funerary collection of King Djoser, which is located inside the great wall centered on the pyramid of King Usserkaf, the first monarch of the Fifth Dynasty, and the Step Pyramid, the first pyramid imhotep ever constructed out of stone. We will next proceed with our exploration of Saqqara, stopping at the pyramid sector of Teti, the first Sixth Dynasty ruler, the pyramid of his two wives; a collection of state tombs, including the tomb of "Meri Roca"; and the western sector. The Serapeum was used until the Ptolemaic period and was dedicated to the burial of the sacred calf during the XXVIth Dynasty. Part of the Wanis Pyramid Y: The southern sector, which contains the pyramids of the Fifth and Sixth Dynasties' kings, some queens' pyramids, and Shepseskaf's tomb, is also significant because of the hieroglyphic writings on its walls that contain religious incantations for the dead, known as "Mutun al-Ahram."
After that, we continue our journey by visiting the pyramids of Giza, which is one of the most famous archaeological sites in Egypt and includes the pyramids of the kings of the Fourth Dynasty Khufu, his son Khafre, and his grandson Menkaure, in addition to the famous Sphinx, and each of the pyramids of the kings has a group of pyramids, each of which includes the pyramids of the queens and a small pyramid that is considered a doctrinal pyramid for the king. A small pyramid is considered a doctrinal pyramid for the king, and the Valley Temple, from which an ascending road, on the sides of which scenes of daily life are carved, leads to an upper temple known as the funerary temple, and priests performed funerary and burial rituals for the deceased king inside these temples. The area formerly housed Khufu's boats, known as the Sun Boats, which were recently moved to the Grand Egyptian Museum when it opened, but the area still retains the pits of these boats. Finally, dignitaries and members of the royal family are buried on the terraces in the area.
