Early in the morning I will meet you and take you from your hotel in Hurghada to Luxor, right amid ancient Egyptian civilization, by a scenic drive through the Eastern Desert. Your first stop would be at the Karnak Temple Complex; this is the largest religious site of ancient Egypt. You will move through its colossal hypostyle hall, towering obelisks, and sacred lakes as your guide recounts stories of the pharaohs who built this awe-inspiring masterpiece. Here, you will see the grandeur of the Temple of Amun-Ra, adorned with intricate hieroglyphics that have stood the test of time.
Next up is the beautiful Luxor Temple which everyone must go and see. This is located in the red heart of modern-day cities. Built by Amenhotep III and then added to by Ramses II, massive statues await you here along with the most delicate carvings. Sphinxes greet you along the way that used to connect the temple with Karnak. Explore more of the history that has gone before these monuments and delight in a delicious lunch at a local restaurant where you can sample wonderful Egyptian culinary art and do so with a view of the magnificent Nile River.
Later, enjoy a very nice relaxing lunch after which he will take you on a wonderful boat trip up the Nile-the beautiful Banana Island with all its lush tropical banana plantations-and relax, eat fresh bananas straight from the trees, and enjoy the serenity of nature as a true rural Egyptian life. Return to Hurghada once the sun sets at the end of the day. You'll reach your hotel in the evening, which promises to be filled with warm memories of Luxor's ancient wonders and natural Banana Island beauty.
