Local companies provide optional trips in Luxor, where you can take a hot air balloon tour very early in the morning.
After finishing breakfast, you will check out of the cruise ship and head with your guide to Luxor for a tour. See the Valley of the Kings, an incredible site in Luxor. Many consider the Valley of the Kings to be among Egypt’s most famous sites of the past. The kings of the New Kingdom, as well as King Tutankhamen himself, were buried there.
Make sure to see the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also called El Deir El Bahari. She ruled as the fifth pharaoh of Egypt’s 18th dynasty and was one of the few women to do so. The Colossi of Memnon, two giant limestone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, also stand here.
We will drop you off at either Luxor Airport or the train station before you leave.
We hope you enjoyed your cruise on the Nile from Aswan to Luxor aboard our MS Nile Dolphin.
