Itinerary

Saqqara is home to the Step Pyramid of Djoser, which is considered one of the most important architectural achievements in ancient Egypt. Built during the 27th century BCE, it is the earliest colossal stone building and the first pyramid ever constructed. 

Certainly, you may carry your prescription medication, but try not to bring too much. If you are staying longer than planned and have finished your medication during your trip, you can get it from Egyptian pharmacies. Remember to bring the prescription as well, since some pharmacies need to see it before they may dispense certain medications.

Khufu is thought to have built the biggest pyramid ever, the Great Pyramid of Giza. Egypt did well under the rulers of the Fourth Dynasty, so they had lots of money to build huge things like pyramids.
 

This tour is best taken between October and April, when the temperature is lower and more conducive to outdoor activities. The tour becomes less comfortable in the summer because of the extreme heat.
